I have chosen to study Health Services Management because I aspire to further develop my management experience within the field of healthcare. I feel having the opportunity to manage a hospital, healthcare facility, or physician practice is an amazing way to contribute to high quality patient care without providing clinical care. I also have a strong interest in Human Resources Management as well. It is important for not only the patient to feel supported, but the clinical staff providing the care as well. In the beginning, I thought clinical care was the only way I could make a difference in the lives of patients, but health care managers also play a significant role within the healthcare industry as well.
