Excel Assignment
This Excel assignment from my Health Care Accounting course was completed at the beginning of the semester as we worked through Chapter 1. This assignment focuses on basic learning of financial statements and the components of a statement of operations, statement of net assets, and a balance sheet.
What I learned
This Excel assignment helped introduce me to both financial statements and the formatting of financial spreadsheets. While completing it, I began to understand how key financial statements, such as the income statement and balance sheet, are structured and which finance components are associated with each. At the same time, I developed basic Excel skills like organizing data and formatting spreadsheets in a clear and professional way. This experience helped me see how Excel is used as a tool in accounting practices and how to analyze and present financial information efficiently. Overall, the assignment gave me a stronger foundation in both accounting concepts and technical skills that I will continue to build on in my future career endeavors.
